Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-30Published

Preliminary edition, pending legal review. The operator's details and the values marked in the text will be published before registration opens.

1. General

These Terms of Use (the Terms) govern the use of the Gradly platform (gradly.uz; the Platform), run by its operator (the operator's details will be published before registration opens; the Operator).

By signing up, you confirm that you have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not sign up or use the Platform.

The Platform connects students and graduates with employers. The Operator is not a party to employment or any other relationship between a candidate and an employer, and does not guarantee employment or hiring.

2. Account

  • The Platform is intended for students and graduates of educational institutions, including users under 18.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • One person may have only one account.
  • You can sign in only after verifying your email address.
  • Keep your password secret. You are responsible for actions taken with your account. If you notice a sign-in that was not you, sign out the other sessions in your settings, change your password and tell us at support@gradly.uz.
  • When a new version of these Terms or of the consent to data processing is published, the Platform asks you to accept it at your next sign-in.

3. Students and graduates

  • The Platform is free for students and graduates.
  • You decide what to include in your profile and CV. Do not include information unrelated to your job search, or other people's data without their consent.
  • When you apply for a vacancy, you share your profile, CV and cover letter with the employer who posted it and with its team.
  • The Platform drafts a cover letter from your profile and the vacancy. Read it and correct it if needed before sending: you are responsible for what the letter says.
  • The readiness score, CV tips and vacancy recommendations are advice, not an assessment of you by employers; employers do not see them.
  • Your profile appears in candidate search and in suggestions for vacancies, and employers can invite you to apply, only with your separate consent, which you can turn off in your settings. An invitation does not oblige you to anything: you can decline it.

4. Employers

  • An employer acts on the Platform on behalf of an organization. The representative confirms that they are authorized to act on its behalf.
  • Only organizations verified by the Operator can publish vacancies and access candidate data. The Operator may request documents on the organization's registration and the representative's authority, and may refuse or suspend verification.
  • The organization's owner invites up to 20 team members and assigns their roles. The organization is responsible for what its team members do and promptly removes people who leave.
  • Vacancies and the public company page must be genuine, describe the company and working conditions accurately and comply with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the prohibition of discriminatory requirements. By uploading a logo you confirm that you may use it.
  • A person decides about a candidate. The Platform's match assessment, sorting and checklist are supporting information, not grounds for rejecting anyone without review. Candidates may be rejected in bulk only when you select them explicitly; rejection wording must be respectful.
  • Invite to apply only candidates who genuinely fit the vacancy; mass mailings and advertising through invitations are prohibited.
  • Charging candidates for reviewing an application, for employment or for training is prohibited.
  • Candidate data may be used only to recruit for your organization's vacancies. Passing it to third parties, copying it into other databases, using it for mailings or for any other purpose is prohibited.
  • Once an employer receives a candidate's data, it processes that data as an independent operator and complies with personal data legislation.
  • Terms of paid services for employers, if introduced, are set out in a separate agreement.

5. Messages

  • Messages are exchanged inside an application. The employer writes first; a candidate may write first to dispute the match assessment or to add information about themselves.
  • Keep to the application, be polite and do not advertise. Never ask for or send passport details, passwords, SMS codes or payment details.
  • Once an application is withdrawn, its thread is closed to new messages.
  • A message that breaks these rules can be sent for review with the "Report" button. An administrator sees only that message and may restrict the sender's access to the Platform.
  • The number of messages is limited to protect users from spam.

6. Prohibited actions

Users must not:

  • provide false information or impersonate another person or organization;
  • collect data from the Platform by automated means, or bypass request rate limits and other protections;
  • attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
  • post unlawful, offensive or misleading content, advertising or spam, including in messages;
  • insult, intimidate or harass other users;
  • upload malicious files;
  • use the Platform for purposes unrelated to job search and recruitment.

7. User content

  • You are responsible for the data and materials you post on the Platform, including messages and cover letters, and confirm that you have the right to post them.
  • You allow the Operator to store, process and display these materials to the extent needed to run the Platform and within the consents you have given.
  • Uploaded files are checked by an antivirus before anyone other than the person who uploaded them can open them; until the check has run, nobody else can open the file, and an infected file is not kept.
  • The Operator may hide or remove materials that violate these Terms or the law.

8. Suspension and account deletion

  • If these Terms are violated, the Operator may restrict access to the Platform or suspend the account, and will state the reason unless the law prohibits it.
  • You can delete your account at any time in your settings. Your applications are withdrawn and your profile is hidden from employers at once; for 30 days you can cancel the deletion, after that your data is deleted as set out in the Privacy Policy. The only owner of a company first hands ownership over to another team member.
  • You can download your data in your settings before deleting the account.

9. Liability

  • The Platform is provided "as is". The Operator strives to keep it running without interruption but does not guarantee that it will be free of interruptions and errors.
  • The Operator is not responsible for the content of vacancies, profiles and messages, for the decisions of employers and candidates, or for the relationship between them.
  • Limitations of liability apply to the extent permitted by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

10. Changes to the Terms

The version (a date) is shown at the top of the page. We announce significant changes in advance on the Platform or by email. To keep using the Platform after a new version takes effect, you will need to accept it. If you do not agree with the new version, you can delete your account.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, if no agreement is reached, by a court in accordance with the law (jurisdiction: to be published before registration opens).
